Founded in November of 1990, Wireless Data Systems, Inc. (WDS) has over 25 years of experience in successfully designing and implementing complete software and hardware solutions for some of the most well-known corporations in America. Headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida, WDS specializes in software development for mobile, enterprise-wide real-time, data collection and validation. We have extensive experience in successful design and implementation of Warehouse Management System Solutions.

Wireless Data Systems begins in the garage of the founder, David Whitt, in Boca Raton, FL

WDS launches TSX™, the next generation of TopShelf® data engines

2017

Enterprise class browser-based order managements system, with responsive screens which allowed for seamless portability across all devices. A technician was able login and, within 3 clicks, create a new order, select a template (with unlimited line items and quantities), and submit for supervisor approval. Supported 55,000 simultaneous users for a nationwide enterprise client.

2018

From infant stage design to fully working application, we worked with our client’s vision and applied our application development experience and best practices to create a live production solution.

2019

Improved our pre-existing Proof of Delivery (POD) application with real-time GPS capabilities. The capabilities include: Unique Geofence creation, validation of delivery within Geofence coordinates, and bread crumb tracking for route followed for deliveries. Real-time alerts to need to know community via email for anomalies in any of the above validations.

2020

Enhancements include supply/material kits, GPS enhanced Proof of Delivery (POD), an Early Voting equipment allocation module which seamlessly drives multiple operational processes on the warehouse floor (i.e. asset label printing, equipment assignment and programming (per event/precinct), and Quality Assurance (QA)) , and a graphical Election Night Dashboard for critical asset receiving on election night.

  • GPS enhanced Proof of Pickup (POP) – Applies to Elections Equipment Returns, Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) tracking, equipment rental pickup and returns, Return to Vendor (RTV) tracking.
  • UPS/FedEX/USPS Delivery API Suite – Alert customers at any/every stage of the process: when the package ships, on each delivery attempt (e.g. could not get through security gate), and when it is on their doorstep. Based on our current Self Install Kit (SIK) API Suite designed for the cable industry.
